Dr. Mulligan joined North Texas Orthopedics & Spine Center in 2017. He was raised in Grapevine, Texas, and is a Colleyville Heritage High School alumnus. He received his undergraduate education from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, graduating magna cum laude. Dr. Mulligan earned his doctor of medicine degree with honors from Texas A&M University Health Science Center in Temple, Texas, and was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Dr. Mulligan then completed his residency training in orthopedic surgery at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and the Campbell Clinic in Memphis, Tennessee. While in residency, he gained extensive training in upper and lower extremity orthopedic trauma and fracture care at the Elvis Presley Memorial Trauma Center in Memphis, which serves a 150-mile radius covering parts of five states. He also developed a special interest in sports medicine and treating athletes of all ages. His team coverage experience includes assisting the St. Louis Cardinals AAA affiliate Memphis Redbirds baseball team and multiple Memphis area high schools. He currently serves as a team physician for Colleyville Heritage High School.
