Dr. Briseño joined North Texas Orthopedics & Spine Center in 2014. He completed his undergraduate degree in physiological sciences at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona, in 2003, graduating magna cum laude. Dr. Briseño received his doctorate of medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in Los Angeles, California, where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
In 2008, he went on to complete an internship and residency at Stanford University in Stanford, California. While in residency, he was appointed American Orthopaedic Association Resident Leader Representative.
To further specialize, Dr. Briseño underwent fellowship training in spine surgery at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Briseño’s medical interests include, but are not limited to, minimally invasive spine surgery, spinal decompression, spine fusion, deformity correction, artificial disc replacement, and spine trauma.
